Oh, to be a part of history.

We went to “The Gates” while it was still up. In true fashion, we waited until dusk of the last day it was up. But we did take pictures.

They were nice. That’s it really. You know how sometimes when you see a picture of something and then see the real thing there’s a moment of awe? You think “Oh, I get it now. This is why I must experience *thing* in person rather than sitting at home and seeing pictures of it”.
That was not this. It looked the same in pictures. No “awe”.
But…. it was very nice.
