I don’t feel like I did a whole lot this week. I feel like I fell off the cure-wagon in the strict sense, although I continue to fix up stuff around the apartment. I didn’t buy flowers this week or a candle, but I did get some herbs and little container for my porch.

To the photos!

Perhaps all the wibbling over rugs was keeping you from focusing on anything else?

Part of it is that my apartment is so small that I’ve already done a lot of the stuff. I mean… What am I going to do when we get to “bedroom”? I have vacuumed and mopped and kept my kitchen clean and what not. I think I’m just “getting things done” rather than adhearing to the cure process so much.

Have you got any art on these walls? The Cure is really just a guideline, last time I painted half my house and ignored the other half and this time I am stuck in the bathroom. If your bedroom doesn’t need much then you can take a week off. But I still want to know about the art (that is kind of why I was rooting for a rug with some pattern).

I just got my big art purchase in the mail yesterday. It needs to get framed. I also got curtians with pattern. I’m looking for fabric to cover the purple pillows in that will infuse some pattern into the space.

I can sympathize, I’ve felt like I had little to do this week–largely because just last month I rearranged all the furniture in my living room and purged a lot of books and similar at that time. And I’d been sketching out this arrangement since fall before finally getting around to do it, so I’m pretty happy with it.

I ended up doing a lot of other things in other areas as a result, because I’m going to need the extra time in the final weeks to attack my office space–which is by far the scariest part of my apartment next to the front hall closet that’s been dealt with.
